How I got Here
I have had an interest in all forms of artistic expression my whole life. Although most of my work was within the pencil and ink drawing genre (In particular, pointillism), I drifted in and out of watercolour and more recently, pastel.

In 2012 (and again in 2015) while riding my motorcycle I was unfortunately involved in a hit and run collision which caused extensive and long lasting injuries, including nerve and spinal injuries. Due to these injuries I was unable to put pen/pencil to paper and picked up a camera at the advice of a friend. This kept the flame somewhat burning. Unfortunately in early 2018 I was forced to medically retire from my career which left a considerable hole. It was at this time after much consultation I started the path to numerous surgeries in the hope to regain some pain relief and comfort. November 2020 I underwent neurosurgery on my C Spine and with great fortune, I recovered the feeling in my right hand and forearm and my hand shake ceased.

As a result I once again picked up my pencil and ink pens and started drawing some of the photos I had taken. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I have enjoyed being able to once again draw them.
